According to the arrangements of relevant departments, China Grain Reserves Corporation and its affiliated enterprises will increase the collection and storage scale of domestically produced corn in Northeast China and other major corn producing areas in 2024, and set up more than 340 purchasing points to actively stabilize the market and expectations.
China Grain Reserves Corporation Inner Mongolia Branch has launched the purchase of 44 storage points throughout its jurisdiction, maintaining relatively stable prices and effectively playing a leading and driving role in the market. During the autumn grain purchase process, all directly affiliated enterprises in the jurisdiction strictly implement the grain quality and price policy, vigorously promote scheduled grain sales and staggered grain sales, actively extend the purchase time during peak grain sales periods, and allow farmers to pay "clear grain", "reassuring grain", and "comfortable grain".
In the Heilongjiang region, China Grain Reserves Corporation's directly affiliated enterprises have added query machines and other equipment through the latest upgraded intelligent procurement platform system. Grain sellers can wait in the warm and comfortable "one-stop service center" hall, and can swipe their cards at any time to self check information such as the storage process, queue waiting order, and inspection and weighing results of grain trucks. Grain payment settlement can be completed in the service hall. For the first time, unmanned automatic sampling machines have been applied in the Shuangcheng direct warehouses of China Grain Reserves Corporation, reducing the sampling time per vehicle from about 25 minutes to about 10 minutes and significantly improving sampling efficiency; At the same time, two self-service weighing machines are equipped, and a new batch of more efficient and energy-saving large angle conveyors, replenishment machines, threshing machines, etc. are newly purchased, greatly improving the loading and unloading speed.
In the Liaoning region, the Anshan and Panjin direct warehouses of China Grain Reserves Corporation have extended their service radius, expanded their purchasing channels, and provided pre service services such as appointment sales and on-site quality inspections for grain farmers. They directly purchase first-hand grain sources from farmers and reduce their self storage losses through methods such as "drying at the warehouse", helping farmers increase their income. The backbone of the Liaoyang direct warehouse organization went deep into the fields and households to test the moisture and quality of grain, promote grain storage policies, and provide price references for farmers to sell grain.
This year, the country will continue to implement the minimum purchase price policy in major rice producing areas. China Grain Reserves Corporation has launched a minimum purchase price plan for mid to late rice in eligible areas of Henan, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, and Anhui. China Grain Reserves Corporation has announced to the public the lowest purchase price for 216 storage points, with a daily storage capacity of over 170000 tons, and the overall purchase is stable and orderly. In the future, we will increase the collection and storage points in a timely manner according to the progress of the acquisition, to help maintain the bottom line of farmers' ability to sell their grain.
